The official logo for the upcoming Children’s programme titled K-9 which is an unofficial spin off from Doctor Who has recently been revealed. A previous Doctor Who spin off featuring K9 called K9 & Company was previously aired in 1981 starring Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith alongside John Leeson as the voice of K9.The official logo was revealed recently on Outpost Gallifrey which revealed that the actual image below is from the title sequence of the programme. K-9 is expected to be shown in both the United Kingdom and Australia later this year with a total of twenty six episodes.
The font used on the logo is based on K9's old-type font of Westminster with an update and the font is has even been used on K9's new body. K9 will appear in the series as both an animatronic prop and will be present in CGI form.
It was revealed earlier this month that K9 will be making an appearance in the majority of the Sarah Jane Adventures third series.
